Warning – a dire and terse warning:

Practising Nei Gong without direction and supervision of the teacher

All Tai Chi Nei Gong training should be done under the careful and close supervision of a qualified Tai Chi Chuan master. Accidents, sicknesses, psychological problems, or even mental derangement may result from improper training.

This article is to be updated.  For the moment, it is sufficient to refer the reader to what I have wrote on a similar topic for Yellow Bamboo. The internal workings, which are not known to inexperienced practitioners, are the same, and apply to both Yellow Bamboo and Tai Chi. If students want to take the risks, they are welcome to, but do not say I did not warn them. A previous member had already gone ‘pass the bend’ because he practised Nei Gong without blessings and directions from me,  and used the Nei Gong of other teachers.
